Make a Design Statement with Raised Panels

The days of a Murphy Bed being an ugly eyesore on your wall are over.  We take great pride in our designs and can create a design that will suit any taste and budget.  This particular design features raised panels on the face and sides of the bed, but we didn't stop there!!  All the doors, drawers, and end panels on the office are raised panels as well.  This room makes a huge design statement.  If you have guests a few times a year, why fight that queen bed the rest of the year?  A Murphy Wallbed takes up about 16" of space from the wall when closed.  The rest of the room is usable for anything else you can think of.  No need to fight opening and closing a sofa bed when you have a Murphy Wallbed.  It takes just seconds to open or close the bed and all the bedding can remain on the bed.

If you have a spare bedroom, bonus room, or recreation room, you can get multiple uses out of that same space.  You don't have to give up a whole room to a guest room.  Keep the guest room and use the rest of the space for an office, craft room, sewing room, or play room for the kids.

We started with a black slate in a spare room.  We worked closely with the customer to make sure we completely understood what the customer wanted.

We began the installation by assembling the Murphy Wall Bed.

The bed (face down) is ready to be lifted in to place.

The bed is anchored to the wall.  Notice the raised panels on th sides of the bed.  This designed features a bookcase on the right side of the bed.

The bed face is attached to the sides of the bed.  This bed also features a solid raised panel headboard!

Now to start installing the office cabinets.  These feature euro construction with full overlay doors.

The base cabinets start to take shape.  These are six file drawers!

The office is now complete.  All doors and drawer fronts are raised panels.  The top smaller doors feature glass panels.

All drawers have finished interiors and full extenstion glides which can hold 100 pounds.

Under cabinet lighting and oil rubbed bronze pulls add that extra touch.

Here is the bed in the closed postion.

Bed in open position.

Don't let your guests sleep on an air mattress or sofa bed.  Let them sleep in the comfort of a Lift and Stor Bed without giving up your office or craft room!!

  1. Thanks for the post, for the longest time I always thought that getting a murphy wall bed was a stupid idea and that they were a waste a money. But now I take all of that back, because my wife decided to have one built in our home in case we ever have guests over, and I have to say that it is pretty awesome and very convenient.
